I'm Assistant Professor at the University of Paris 8 mostly working on Information Retrieval, Community Detection and Social Networks.
I got my PhD in Computer Science in 2010, at the
University of Torino, working mostly on Information Retrieval, Data Mining and Knowledge Management.
My Ph.D. thesis, supervised by Prof
Maria Luisa Sapino, was entitled
Adaptation of Hierarchical Meta-Data for Efficient Large Data Set Exploration.
I collaborated for projects and research activities with several Institutes, Universities and Companies, including
RAI,
Ecole Centrale Paris,
Telecom Italia,
Arizona State University (see also the
Project section).
I teached different courses in Italian and French at the University of Torino, Ecole Centrale Paris and Paris 8.
