The size of signs is controled by various LaTeX macros:
\DisplayHieroglyphs
write the hieroglyphic texts in its
scope in a big size, with a large spacing between lines so that the
reading is easy.
\TextHieroglyphs
does the contrary. It is better for
in-text text.
\EnPetit{}
writes its argument in the same format as
\TextHieroglyphs
does.
\SmallerText
lowers the size of the signs.
\DisplayHieroglyphs
This is an example :
looks good. \TextHieroglyphs
is better if you are in the bulk of the text.
And \SmallerText
is smaller
and \SmallerText
is even smaller
